Installing Quark Interactive Designer

Windows OS

  1. Insert the installation CD into your computer
  2. Double-click the setup.exe file in the installation files. The Welcome box displays automatically
    NOTE If a current version of QuickTime® player is not installed on your computer, the QuickTime installer displays. To install the QuickTime player, see "Installing Quick Time Player".
  3. Click Next. The License Agreement dialog box displays
  4. Click I accept the terms in the license agreement.
    NOTE You must accept the term of the licence agreement to continue.
  5. Click Next. The Software Verification dialog box displays.
  6. Enter your validation code, or click Install Quark Interactive Designer Demo Version.

    NOTE A watermark displays on all of the files you export from Quark Interactive Designer layouts if you install the demo version of Quark Interactive Designer.
  7. Click Next. The Ready to Install the Program dialog box displays.
  8. Click Install. A progress bar indicates the progress of the installation
  9. A dialog box displays asking if you want to register your copy of Quark Interactive Designer online.
    • Click Yes to register online. A browser window will open. Complete the steps in the online registration form.
    • Click No if you do not want to register your product
  10. Click Finish when the system notifies you that installation is complete.
