Mac OS 10.4.11 | | Summary | This problem can be traced to changes made in the Font Cache during the OS X update to 10.4.11.
QuarkXPress generates the “Fonts are Missing” warning after I update my operating system to 10.4.11. The fonts that display as missing in QuarkXPress display and print fine in Text Edit and other applications.
| | Solution | Restart the computer in Safe Mode by holding down the Shift key as you Restart. Then Restart in normal mode and all fonts are will load correctly.
