QuarkXPress - Product Support Guidelines


At Quark we take pride in our customer’s success. End of Life (EOL) timelines are crucial for us to prioritize on new QuarkXPress releases and to align our customers’ expectations. By providing visibility into product release / support guidelines, our customers are better able to plan their adoption of new releases.

The purpose of this information is to elaborate on the following:

  • System requirement for QuarkXPress (version)
  • OS supported
  • Timelines for Product availability, Technical support and product updates.

EOL EOS
  • EOL – End of Life - The date on which product reaches end of life for technical support and product updates.
  • EOS - End of Sale – The date when a product release is no longer available for new sale to the customer.
  • New Feature updates will be available until EOS.
  • OS upgrade release will be available until EOS.
  • Technical Support – Support provided by Quark to Advantage/Maintenance Plan customers via portal, phone, chat for a QuarkXPress release. The supported versions will be the current version and the last major version. Support is available until product versions reach EOL.
  • Bug fix updates – Product updates that includes corrections, bug fixes and minor modification. These updates are available until product reaches EOL.
  • Self-help Support – Self-support documentation available to customers on our support portal – support.quark.com.
  • CPU with dual cores or more
  • 4GB RAM available for QuarkXPress
  • 2GB hard disk space for installation
