The main differences between the two editions are in the configuration of QuarkXPress Server. A Quark Publishing System 7 included the following:

You can add subrenderers to QuarkXPress Server . If they want to unlock their version to accommodate additional Subrenderers, but there is a fee to do so. QuarkXPress Server configurations are:

QuarkXPress Server for Windows or MAC OS
Quark Document Manager (Windows and Solaris)
ADD SUB-RENDERERS can be added
Connections default value- 16
Counter perm value 1 (always/for all type of servers)
QuarkXPress Server Entry Level Includes:
QuarkXPress Server for Windows or MAC OS
Quark Document Manager (Windows and Solaris)
ADD SUB-RENDERERS cannot be added. To be able to do so, you will need to pay the difference of pricing between normal and entry level servers.
