There may be specific users, groups of users, machines, or groups of machines for which you want to reserve a license. This can be done by setting up a Node Lock List or Node Lock Pool through the QLA Control Panel (also known as the QLA Client). The only difference between a Node Lock List and a Node Lock Pool is that, in a Node Lock List, there is a one to one correspondence between each user and each license. In a Node Lock Pool you can reserve a certain number of licenses for a greater number of users. For instructions on how to set up Node Lock Lists and Pools, please refer to the QLA User Guide'.
