Solution 1

The Automation Services server component and the Automation Services client component are not installed on the same computer. This is mandatory if the server component is installed on a client operating system such as Windows Vista/XP/7. You can log on to the Automation Services server component only from an instance of QPS Connect Client that is running on the same system as the server component.

Solution 2
User ASPNET is not given full control privileges. To update the permissions:

1. Browse to Program Files > Quark > Automation Services for QPS Server.
2. Right-click the “AutomationServices_Data Properties” file and click the Security tab.
3. Provide full control privileges to the [server computername]\ASPNET user.
4. Reset IIS.
