Yes, you can do this using QuarkXPress Server Manager. To do so:
- With QuarkXPress Server Manager launched, go to the Manage QuarkXPress Server pane of the QuarkXPress Server Manager window.
- Click Add. The Add QuarkXPress Server window will display.
- Enter the QuarkXPress Server instance's DNS name or IP address in the Name/IP Address field.
- To specify and alternate name for the server, enter a value in the Alias field. The Alias value will display in the Manage QuarkXPress Server pane of the QuarkXPress Server Manager window.
- If you choose to use a particular ping document for this server, ensure the project file is in the QuarkXPress Server instance's document pool. Then enter the project's file name in the Ping Document field.
- Enter the QuarkXPress Server instance user name and password in the Admin User and Admin Password fields
- To restrict this server to one or more particular types of rendering, check the appropriate boxes in the Request Binding section of the Add QuarkXPress Server window.
- Select Enable to specify that QuarkXPress Server Manager should begin sending rendering requests to this instance.
- Click OK.
Note: You will be prompted to select the QXPS doc pool and logging folders on the re-launch.
