Click Start > All Programs  > Accessories or go to Run > Type CMD.

Right click Command Prompt and select Run as Administrator option.

Type the commands: Subst X: "C:\Windows".  (X is the invalid drive which we're mapping to C drive, it can be mapped to any existing folder in C drive or we can create a new folder in C drive and then map that folder to it). Press Enter.

Now, run the DB installer again

Once the DB is installed successfully, delete the temporarily mapped folder by typing the following command on command prompt:

Subst X:  /D and press Enter.

Type Exit to exit the command prompt.
