QuarkXPress: Quark 2019/15.2/15.2.1
Background: While Installing QuarkXPress 2019 Installer when we click on "Setup" we get error : 1155 File C:\Userstmonroe\Appdata\Local\Temp\7z0877.2018.msi not found.
This error appears due to “Background intelligent transfer service is not running” error message comes up when BITS service stop working. It happens when the system gets update and not rebooted after the update. You simply need to restart the system or reboot the system in safe mode.
Manual steps to restart the BITS service :
If you still get the error after restarting the system kindly, follow the steps given below to start the BITS service manually. You can only do that if you are the admin user :
- Go to the windows Services or type “services.msc” in the search bar.
- You will see the “Background intelligent transfer service” and the status.
- Right click in front of the name and start the service.
- After enabling the services, launch Quark "setup" to begin the Installation.
